Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost. Jesus’ blood donation on a Roman cross sets anyone free who looks to him. He changes the sacrificial system, no longer requiring the blood of a lamb. But he does ask us to get involved in the sacrificial community that stands between those who would steal another’s freedom and the open door to a new world. Sermon by Pastor Frank Reeder.
