Mission & Vision
Seaview’s mission is for all of us to extravagantly bless people with the love of God so together we grow to follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly.
Jesus tells his disciples in John’s gospel “Just as the Father sent me, I send you.” (John 20:21) Our mission is to be good news to all the world.
That gets worked out in practical ways as we demonstrate God’s love to others. We are Christ’s hands, feet and heart. Since our beginnings in 1862, we have been part of the West New Jersey Baptist Association and the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey, a gathering of churches with an eye to doing mission together in a way that enhances our ability to reach out to our world in Christ’s generous love.

Our gatherings are a very significant part of who we are. Together, we seek to grow in our faith, share our lives, find encouragement in our struggles and celebrate the awesome things God is doing all around us. The message comes straight from God’s Word — It’s the foundation of everything we believe and do.
Our pastor, Mark Larimer, preaches sermons that are biblically based, which provide practical application for personal/spiritual growth. We provide small group bible studies (LifeGroups), personal discipleship, and programs for children and youth. Come worship and grow with us!
